No Girl Left Behind

Why should girls have access to sanitary products?
Girls who don't have access to sanitary pads are often forced to skip a week of school every month, causing them to fall behind in their academics. Many of these girls fall so far behind their peers, they have to drop out. As a result, they fall behind in their communities as well because they don't have the education to obtain better paying jobs. By simply having access to sanitary products in school, girls will be able to thrive in their communities when they grow older.
